Our platform

AngelEquity is a convenient tool to make investments into some of the best prepared early stage companies in New Zealand.

When you decide to join AngelEquity our platform requests the information you need to supply our team to become a registered AngelEquity investor.

When you have supplied the information our team needs, you will automatically be granted ‘pending investor’ status on our platform. To understand what information pending investors have access to and what happens next click on the graphic below.

As a pending investor, you are not able to make investments. However, you will be able to see Business Summary information and dropsheets, be automatically subscribed to AngelEquity’s general email updates about offers, and will be able to follow deals you are interested in by clicking the follow button to receive updates specific to that offer.

When our AngelEquity team have successfully worked through the registration process with you, your status will be changed to ‘registered investor’. You will then be recognised as a “wholesale investor” under the FMCA’s eligible investor or a wealthy/finance professional criteria. As a registered investor, you will be able to see all of the offer information available including the term sheet, investment memorandum and due diligence performed by the business angels who have invested in the deal.
